Employee benefit packages at EMS exceed the industry standard and ensure that we recruit, retain, and deliver the best support to both our employees and customers.

Medical Insurance: We offer all full-time employees health insurance at a competitive price, as we are part of a large network. Our current carrier is United HealthCare UMR Plan, a PPO with fantastic perks.

Cafeteria Plan: This plan allows EMS employees to delegate money to set aside for premium conversions such as medical, dental or vision plan contributions, healthcare reimbursements, and dependent care reimbursements.

Dental Coverage: EMS employees and their families can enjoy dental coverage, which allows each member an exam annually with additional areas of coverage for orthodontics and services prescribed.

Vision Coverage: EMS offers each employee and their family inexpensive vision insurance. This insurance has added coverage for contact and glasses wearers, as well as discounts for laser vision corrections.

Disability Benefit: At EMS, our employees are our most important resource, so we offer full time employees $60,000 life and AD&D insurance. Additionally, spouses get $5,000 and children get $2,000, all of which is paid for by EMS.

Holidays: EMS offers ten company paid holidays per year.

Annual Leave:

  • 2 weeks (1 – 5 years service)
  • 3 weeks (6 – 10 years service)
  • 4 weeks (10+ years service)

Sick Leave:

  • 1 week (1 – 5 years service)
  • 2 weeks (6 – 10 years service)
  • 3 weeks (10+ years service)

Training

Educational Assistance: Reimbursement for tuition, fees & books up to $2,000 per year.

Job Required Training: Health, Safety, Security and other specialized requirements.

Certification Training: CEU’s, CME’s.
